As part of preparation for the practical project of the Leaving Certificate Ag Science course, 5th Year Ag Science students went out this morning in two groups to visit a local farm to get a taste of farm life. Students were shown the milking parlour, cows being milked, a calf being born, calf tagging & the highlight of the trip was definitely all the calves in the calf shed! Special thanks to the Flynn family who welcomed us onto their farm today.
