The Soroptimist International North Kildare group are seeking entrants from 4th, 5th and 6th year to enter their annual Girls' Public Speaking Competition. The aims of the competition are to encourage girls to play a more prominent part in public life, to improve the art of communication, to encourage girls to develop skills to speak effectively and to articulate with clarity and conviction and to develop self-confidence.
