The 2020-21 MEC School Journal Back Cover Design Competition is now up and running. This competition is open to all MEC students who now have the opportunity to design the back cover of next year’s School Journal2020-21. The pandemic is a challenging time for everyone but every cloud has a silver lining! One of the positives of the lockdown is that it has given us all a time-out, time to look at things differently, to re-evaluate, reflect and reframe our perspectives. We invite students from 1st to 5th year to submit artwork to be used on the back cover of our school journal for 2020/21.The design should depict what school life means to you.Last year's back cover was designed by 5th year student Ella Nolan.If you would like your submission to be considered please email your entry (pdf version) to smt@maynootheducationcampus.ie by Friday June 12th.After all submissions have been received we will choose one that will be then be published on all school journals for 2020/21 .This is a fantastic opportunity for the students to showcase their artistic talents.If you have any questions please email the address above.Best of luck everyone!
