MEC 12 - 17 Coláiste Cois Life
Our Junior rugby team fought to the death but unfortunately could not get a decisive score to snatch victories from the jaws of defeat from Coláiste Cois Life. Despite being down a number of key players, the lads can hold their head up high and their desire to win and intensity cannot be faulted
After an early set back and going 12-0 down before half time, the lads put in a massive performance in the second half and bring it back to a one score game. Unfortunately that score with elude MEC, with the CCL defensive line holding firm despite constant bombardment from less than 5 metres out, only to be denied by some good defence and a ticking clock.
