Biology is the science of life and living things. It forms a knowledge base for hundreds of careers ranging from Oceanography and Ecology to Medicine and Biotechnology.

Ecology: Study of an ecosystem.

Unit 2. – The Cell

Cell S-tructure: Cell division, Genetics, Enzymes, Photosynthesis, Respiration.

Unit 3. – The Organism
The Flowering Plant: Structure, nutrition & transport responses and sexual and asexual reproduction.
The Human Body: Heart & blood, digestion, breathing, nervous system, eye and ear, skeleton, hormones, defence system and reproduction.
Microbiology: Bacteria, fungi and viruses.
