CSPE Trip

CSPE Trip (Tuesday 13th March) -

As part of their CSPE Action Project, classes 2G and 2K chose to visit the DSPCA (Dublin Society for Prevention of Cruelty to animals) in order to find out more about the work they do. The tour started with an educational talk from the DSPCA about why they were established and the work they do to help rescue, rehabilitate, re-home and release animals. Students also learned about the prevalence of puppy farming and the importance of micro chipping their pets. Once the talk was over, the students got a chance to visit many of the rescue animals that live at the DSPCA site in Rathfarnham including dogs, cats, goats, ducks, geese, pigs, horses and donkeys.
