Our MEC Hurlers are continuing their winning streak this week. The team brought back a 4-11 to 3-10 victory over St. Benildus College, Stillorgin on Wednesday 18th. This is a notable win for the talented team who are competing in Division A for the very first time. There were some great performances overall but stand out performances on the day were from a trio sixth years: Matthew Eustace, Harry Dunne and Cathal McCabe. Special shout out to TY Conor McBrearty for yet another brilliant performance this week. McBrearty who also plays on the U16 team scored two goals in the game. This totals an impressive 4 goals this week. Next up is a game against St. Aidan’s CBS, Whitehall in a few weeks’ time.
